Most frequent questions and answers
What is Intravenous Infusion (IV)?
I.V. Vitamins Drips is a method of administering vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, & amino acids directly into the bloodstream through intravenous infusion. It provides valuable nutrients to the body, bypassing the digestive system, and has been clinically proven to be more effective than oral supplements
Does it hurt?
No, for most people, it will feel similar to an ant’s bite. The small needle only penetrates the skin 1-2mm, then the catheter is slipped down the needle. The needle is then withdrawn. There is no needle in during the course of the IV. You can also move around with our portal IV stands.
Is it safe?
Yes, it is safe. All of our vitamins and minerals are sourced from accredited nationwide compounding pharmacies that comply will all FDA laws. We are regulated by the Florida Department of Health. Our Clearwater & Pinellas Park facilities are full-service medical practices with licensed doctors, nurses, and medical assistants. We administered our formula under the authorization of a physician after a full health assessment. All protocols have been thoroughly researched and developed by leading medical specialists.
How effective is the treatment?
IV is the quickest and most effective way for the body to get vitamins and minerals. You get almost 100% of the nutrients compared to about 20% of oral supplements. You should feel the effect almost immediately. You will feel refreshed, energized, and revived. You might have an aftertaste in your mouth or at the back of your throat. Urination can have bright color and mild odor, all of these are completely normal.
How long does it take?
It will take anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on your choice of formula. We do regulate the IV speed to make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy your service.
How long does the effect last?
Normally, it will last from 1-2 weeks and could get up to 4 weeks depending on the individual. Each person has a different lifestyle and metabolism rate so the effect length can vary.
How often can I get IV?
Depending on the season, your lifestyle, and work condition. We recommend getting once to twice a month. That is why we give special pricing packages for regular clients. You can check our IV Menu page for more info.
